Meet the Wilesco D405/2 Steam Traction Engine, an exclusive Forest Classics black and green Wilesco traction engine with product number 00405/2.

The D405/2 is a special black and green version of the Wilesco traction engine, developed from the D405/1 Crane Traction Engine but supplied without the crane. This distinctive configuration is exclusive to Forest Classics.

The short roof with side boards, combined with its heritage colour scheme, gives the D405/2 an authentic, period-style appearance. Add the chunky tyres and carefully selected detailing, and this is a traction engine that looks every bit ready for a day’s hard work on the fairground or farmyard.

This model is a unique addition to the Wilesco Steam Traction Engine range and is supplied exclusively through Forest Classics. Whether you’re expanding a collection or looking for a model to admire and run, the D405/2 combines classic Wilesco engineering with a distinctive black and green finish.

To get you steaming straight out of the box, the engine comes complete with a gel burner tray and a bottle of gel, allowing you to enjoy the full live-steam experience right away.

Ditch the fuel gel and convert your Wilesco D405/2 to gas

The Wilesco D405/2 is available with a BIX 011 gas conversion set at a special price of £412.99. This would be £430.00 if bought separately.

For even greater savings, buy the engine, gas set and the BIX 019 refill adapter for £429.79. Bought separately, the total cost is £451.98. You will not need the BIX 019 refill adapter if you already have one.

The BIX kit is an easy fit with no modifications needed to the engine. It comes complete with full instructions and technical support. The BIX 011 kit fits all Wilesco traction engines and Rollers without modifications to the engines.
