The Old Smokey steam roller in black/nickel is another color variation that is interesting for collectors and steam enthusiasts.

This model of a mobile steam engine was modeled after a widely used steam roller that served in road construction until the 1950s.

Mobile and stationary steam roller

Catwalk, chain steering and transmission coupling are standard features of our Old Smoky (black/nickel). The coupling – operated by a rod next to the driver’s cabin – allows the steam roller to be used as a stationary steam engine. The Old Smoky is powerful enough with its 230 cc boiler to pull accessories in mobile operation and drive driven models in stationary operation. The aluminum roller wheels of this steamroller are anodized and painted.
