Wilesco D365 Old Smoky Mobile or Stationary Steam Engine

The Wilesco D365 steam roller combines authentic detail with genuine working functionality. Features include a detailed driver’s walkway, chain steering, transmission coupling and anodised and painted aluminium roller wheels.

Thanks to the transmission coupling, operated by a lever to the left of the cab, the D365 can be used in two ways. Operate the Old Smoky as a mobile steam roller and it has enough power to pull suitable accessories. Alternatively, engage the coupling and use the D365 as a stationary steam engine to power compatible Wilesco accessories and drive models.

The D365 is fitted with a 230 cc steam boiler, providing impressive performance for a model of its size.

Working Wilesco Steam Roller with Realistic Smoke

The Wilesco Old Smoky D365 is a fully working model steam engine designed for both indoor and outdoor operation. Its flywheel can be started in either direction, allowing the steam roller to travel forwards or backwards.

Steering is controlled using the traditional steering chain, just as you would expect from a classic steam roller. During operation, the chimney produces realistic smoke, adding to the authentic steam-engine experience.

Using a charge of original Wilesco gel fuel, the approximate running time is 15 minutes. Running time may vary and can be slightly shorter when using alternative brands of dry fuel.
