Wilesco 01452 Long Profile Tyres For All Traction Engines

Set Of Four Rubber Tyres for Wilesco Steam Tractors Part 01452

Steam tractors and steam locomotives typically have wheels made of metal, which are sometimes coated in chrome or brass. This can make the wheels delicate. Hard or rough surfaces can damage the finish.

WIDTH APPROX. 22.5MM

However, this issue can be addressed by using Wilesco’s specially made rubber tires for steam tractors. The rubber tires are easily mounted on the metal wheel rims, protecting the tires from damage and significantly improving traction. Another benefit is reduced noise when driving and a slight cushioning for uneven surfaces.
