This finely detailed model represents the Fowler B6 Crane as operated by the Horsham Traction Company, the vintage steam division of the Les Searle Group. One of the largest privately owned earthworks contractors in the South of England, the Searle family has been based in Horsham since 1913, when the business began as agricultural engineers working with steam-powered threshing machinery.

Today, the family preserves an impressive collection of restored steam vehicles, regularly exhibiting them at steam rallies and heritage events across the UK, including the Great Dorset Steam Fair and many other prestigious shows.

The model is finished in a traditional black livery with a matt black roof, chimney, crane arm, and chassis, complemented by a dark red roof underside. The wheels feature a realistic weathered finish, with mottled cement-coloured outer rims that faithfully recreate the appearance of the full-size machine.

Intricate red, gold, and silver detailing highlights the roof-edge signwriting and fine lining throughout the model, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship for which Oxford Diecast is renowned. Completing the authentic finish is registration SG 4713, reproduced with impressive accuracy.
