Product Description & Details
Emergency Gas Shut Off Valve For Radio Control
*Can be use manually on static engines or by radio control on boats etc.
The Bix 032 Radio Control Emergency Gas Shut Off Valve is designed for model engineers who require a reliable way to shut off the gas supply to a burner by radio control. Designed primarily as an emergency gas shut-off device, the valve can be incorporated into the gas supply pipework between the gas tank valve and the burner.
The valve is operated by a radio control servo connected to the release tag. When the release tag is withdrawn, the internal plunger drops to shut off the gas supply to the burner. The valve can then be re-armed manually using the supplied split ring and release tag.
Suitable for use with 30%/70% propane/butane mixtures, the valve has male 1/4″ x 40 TPI fittings and is supplied with cones and union nuts suitable for 1/8″ copper pipe.
The valve incorporates mounting holes in its base, allowing it to be securely attached to the model structure. The release tag can also be rotated to help provide a convenient connection point for the radio control servo.
